Step-by-step
- Download the PDF (fillable on your computer — use Adobe Reader or your browser).
- Fill in the owner's information: full name, CURP, RFC, address in Jalisco.
- Fill in the vehicle's information: make, model, year, VIN, engine number, color, service type.
- Check the type of movement you are doing (registration, cancellation, ownership change, etc.).
- Print it, sign in the marked boxes, and bring it to UNIRSE Fluvial Vallarta on your appointment day.

What is the V1J form?
It is the Secretaría de Transporte de Jalisco's official application for any vehicle procedure: registration, cancellation, ownership transfer, plate or registration card replacement, 3×1 plate exchange, and more.
Is the V1J form free?
Yes, the download is free. The fees for the underlying procedure (registration, cancellation, etc.) do have a cost per the 2026 Ley de Ingresos.
Where do I submit the completed V1J form?
At UNIRSE Fluvial Vallarta, Av. Grandes Lagos #236, Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:00 PM. You need an appointment booked at agendador-shp.jalisco.gob.mx.
Can I fill it in by hand?
Yes — you can fill it in by hand using black ink and block letters, or fill it on the computer and then print it. Signatures must always be handwritten.
