Emissions verification
Certificate showing that the vehicle was tested for polluting emissions at an authorized verification center. For the 3×1 canje, both "Aprobado" (passed) and "No Aprobado" (failed) results are accepted. Motorcycles do NOT need this document. It's also not required for a new alta — only for the canje.
How to get it
Book your appointment at verificacionresponsable.jalisco.gob.mx and go to the Puerto Vallarta Verificentro: Av. Francisco Medina Ascencio #4774-A, corner of Av. Las Palmas, Col. Guadalupe Victoria, C.P. 48317. The certificate is issued the same day.
