Legal residency proof
Immigration document showing that a foreign owner has legal authorization to be in Mexico: temporary resident card, permanent resident card, FM2, or FM3.
How to get it
Issued by the INM (Mexico's National Migration Institute). The Puerto Vallarta office is at Av. México s/n, Col. Centro. If it's valid, bring the original plus a copy. If it's about to expire, renew it at INM first.
